Thigh Lift

After the thigh lift surgery, your leg(s) will be bandaged to maintain their shape while the skin heals to the tissue underneath. Sutures and possibly a drain may be used to aid healing.

Discomfort and swelling are common, so it's important to rest and avoid excessive leg motion.

Most people can return to work after a week.

This surgery carries a specific risk of pulmonary embolism from the release of fat or blood clots into the bloodstream, although this is a rare occurrence.

While the incision at the hip will leave a scar, it will fade over time and can be concealed by a bathing suit.
